Always with Love – Giovanna Fletcher


I was just about to start reading “Always with Love” when I realised I hadn’t read “Christmas with Billy & me” (I know, that’s crazy right!).

I mean, I have to read it, I can’t read the new book before that one! So I went onto iTunes and downloaded it on to my phone, got a cup of tea and read!

Now I was ready to go………

So following on from “Billy & me” and “Christmas with Billy & me” which I have now read, (thank you iTunes!)  “Always with love” carries on the love story of Sophie and Billy.

Now if you haven’t read them you should, these books are such a good read, they are heartwarming and emotional with a little bit of heartbreak thrown in.

Perfect to get lost in for a few hours!

The Small faces with a BIG story. 



When I saw the email that bloggers were needed to review a musical, I didn’t even hesitate to say yes!

I was a bit worried at first because I didn’t know the music or the history of The Small Faces, but after a quick google, I decided to just go, enjoy it and see what happens.

Turns out I didn’t need to worry!

Diving into the deep! 

From the moment the screen goes up, the mood is set, you know it’s going to be an emotional one!

In front of us is Hester’s flat, where you can see the shadows of stairs behind leading to the flats above.

With the blue/grey lighting, and the towering flats behind, it manages to cast a sombre mood across the stage.

In its shadows, you can see figures running and calling out.

“Mrs Page! Mrs page!”
